Build recently completed this impressive work for America’s largest typography conference, TypeCon. The 2014 festival was hosted in Washingon, D.C and was appropriately titled ‘CAPITOLISED’.

The location inspired Build to develop a typographic system that referenced redaction — the process of ‘obscuring or removing sensitive information from a document prior to publication or release’. This idea and the way in which the studio translated it to all manner of collateral beautifully captures Washington’s ‘sloganeering and bureaucratic’ essence.
