Type Deck is a series of typographic playing cards that feature excellent lettering by Chris Cavill, an English designer who now calls Canada home. If the project reaches its funding goal on Kickstarter the final product will also feature some excellent finishing techniques. The tuckbox shown below for instance will be a limited run produced by USPC that will feature gold, grey and white foils.

Type Deck is a little over halfway to reaching its funding goal so I’d encourage you to head over to Kickstarter and to pledge. You’ll not only be helping to get this project off the ground, but can score some of these unique collectible playing cards and maybe a t-shirt or two as well!
