Paperlux are a design studio based in Hamburg who have a self confessed fetish for paper and all things print, not to mention an excellent portfolio. This recent project for the 48th awards presentation of the Golden Camera from HÖRZU is a prime example of their quality work.

The studio designed a typeface for the event, which was subsequently combined with macro images of the awards trophy and some rather beautiful finishing techniques to create a suite of communication materials fitting for the event. The typeface itself is composed of geometric shapes and fine lines that give it a very elegant and contemporary feel, which is further emphasised by the use of gold foils.
