Really enjoyed looking through thestandardsmanual.com, a website created by Niko Skourtis, Jesse Reed and Hamish Smyth. The website serves as an archival record of a first edition New York City Transit Authority Graphic Standards Manual — recently discovered in a locker underneath some old gym clothes! This manual was designed by the legendary Massimo Vignelli of Unimark International in 1970 and as you would expect it contains lots of beautiful design work, all executed in an uncompromising modernist style.
