Makeshift
Rifle were responsible for the original design of Makeshift back when the magazine was founded in 2011 and were recently challenged to rework their own design.
The iconic typeface ITC Clearface, which was originally designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1907, now takes center stage and lends it distinctive look to this charming new aesthetic. I also love how the designers have introduced a ‘navigator’, which appears at the top of each page and displays folio information and other data for each article.
Rifle have done an impressive job, making this another great addition to an already stellar portfolio that already includes magazines such as The Eight and The Outpost.
