Forms of Practice
This book titled ‘Forms Of Practice‘ was designed by UK studio Cartlidge Levene and chronicles German-Swiss architecture from 1980-2000. It was designed for GTA Verlag, the publishing arm of the renowned Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture. At its core the publication features six building case studies, investigating the ‘forms of practice’ of six important German-Swiss architectural practices.
If you’re a fan the rest of the studio’s work is definitely worth a look! Lots of sans-serifs typefaces, structured grids and asymmetric layouts — all hallmarks of the International Typographic Style. Beautiful stuff!
