Beautiful branding work from Stockholm based studio Lowe Brindfors who recently designed this new identity for Folkoperan. The charming Art Deco inspired typography and colour palette was influenced by Folkoperan’s home — a beautiful Opera House built in the 1930’s.
The studio opted for an interesting versatile approach when it came to the brand mark, which takes the form of a songbird. Depending on the application the symbol and its usage can change to suit. ‘Our symbol flies, sits and sings. Sometimes he’s happy, sometimes mischievous, angry and sometimes sad. Everything depends on the performance and the context.’
