Love the visual identity Fieldwork have created for themselves! The brand reflects the studio’s design aesthetic perfectly — an aesthetic which errs towards simplicity, but is also a little playful thanks largely to the great illustrations that punctuate much of their work.
To make the task of designing their brand easier the studio composed their own manifesto and collected visual inspiration referencing that before starting out. Having gone through the (often painful) studio rebrand a number of times I really admire this common sense approach. From there the studio adopted an iterative process until they eventually arrived at the beautiful visual identity shown below.
