Albert Romagosa is a designer based in Barcelona who has been working in a freelance capacity since 2011. I particularly like this identity and collateral material he designed for Diagonal Verda Bcn, an exhibition showcasing the work of final year architecture students studying at ESARQ. Romagosa produced two identity marks in response to the brief he was given. The first contained the entire name of the exhibition, but the second was more abstract and simply connected the letters ‘D’ and ‘V’ by a diagonal line. Thanks to the abstract nature of the second mark, the two alternate identities work together effectively, even when in close proximity as shown on the poster below.
