Darby Sans
Commercial Type have just released Darby, a humanist sans originally designed by Paul Barnes and Dan Milne for Wallpaper* Magazine. The high contrast sans-serif possesses an elegance typically only found in serif designs, while its simplified letterforms accord it a contemporary aesthetic.
The Darby Collection boasts two related designs — the first is a robust variant suited for the most demanding graphic applications, while the second is more suited to display purposes thanks to its increased stroke contrast. Both Darby Sans and Darby Sans Poster are available in seven weights, in addition to italics and a handful of useful alternatives.
