Chilean type foundry Latinotype have recently released a beautiful geometric sans called Arquitecta. I have a bit of a thing for geometric sans-serifs so I’m loving this new typeface, which is based on the same rational principles as Futura and Avant Garde.
Arquitecta differs though as designers Daniel Hernández Sánchez and Miguel Hernández Montoya set out to create a geometric sans-serif whose proportions were more like that of a humanist typeface. The final result is a contemporary sans that serves as an excellent alternative to more established typefaces from the geometric genre.
