Hagen Verleger’s superb editorial design work has appeared on a plethora of design blogs, but if you’ve not seen his work before I recommend grabbing a coffee and taking the time to look through his portfolio.

The piece shown below is the first issue of ‘A Magazine About‘ and explores the subject of fashion and identity — ‘it is an interdisciplinary examination of the interrelations of fashion (as a socio-cultural system) and identity’. This superbly crafted publication, which was only recently nominated for a German Design Award, was co-designed with Johannes Markus Frerichs and edited by Verleger himself.
